Nancy Luca Florida Band

Nancy Luca brings her passion for music back to her hometown of Gainesville, Florida, several times a year. With a loyal fan base and a band of talented friends, she keeps the rock spirit alive.

 

The band features Nancy’s best friend—Anna Marie, her partner in crime since their move to California in 1990—delivering show-stopping performances of classics like "Piece of My Heart" and "Highway to Hell." Long-time friend Tom Holz adds his guitar expertise, while Fritz holds down the bass, stepping in after years of Joe Loper’s incredible contributions. Fun fact: Nancy and Fritz go way back—they tied in a Battle of the Bands when Fritz was with The Riff and Nancy led Gossip!

 

On drums is George Covington III, who took over after the legendary Larry Thompson retired. Nancy has shared many unforgettable moments with Larry in past bands and wishes him the best.
