Backyard Band

Los Angeles-based Backyard Band was born out of the pandemic, with a unique setup in—you guessed it—the backyard! Spaced six feet apart, headphones on, and armed with an electronic drum kit to keep the neighbors happy, they turned a challenging time into a four-year (and counting) musical journey.

 

Fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Sky Nicholas, with Michael Katz on rhythm guitar, Miiko Watanabe on bass, and Leanne Lagoyda on drums, the rhythm section brings the same magic you love from Lady Zep. They specialize in delivering classic and country rock favorites, with a growing collection of originals to keep things fresh.
