Nancy Luca was raised in the heart of Florida's gator country where she learned to play guitar at an early age. As a teenager, she studied guitar with Mike Campbell, played with Tom Petty and toured with Bo Diddley on the East Coast.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Nancy has been successful writing and doing session work. She produced and recorded two CDs of her own songs, the latest entitled “I Play Guitar” and is currently working on new releases for her Luca Band project.

She received the Rock City News awards for Best Female Guitar Player in 2007 and Best Female Tribute for Whole Lotta Rosies in 2007 & 2008.

In addition to her passion as a player, Nancy graduated with honors in Music Recording from USC. Nancy channels the passion and intensity of Jimmy Page, Angus Young and Tony Iommi in her tribute bands but most of all, it's pure Luca that comes through in her own band. But these are just words and it's not about the words, it's about your mother.
